Living as the Creator

Thirty lessons on how reality follows from what you have been thinking, and what to do about it. Reality, for most people, is largely the consequence of what they previously thought, believed and gave their attention to. Changing the effect means changing the thinking, and this course is the method for that, taken from the books and taught so that three different kinds of mind can actually use it.

What makes this different from the rest of the shelf

Two fields that no other course in this genre carries, and they are the reason this one is worth your time.

Where this stops. Twelve lessons carry a boundary block. Where a teaching borrows the vocabulary of frequency, field, resonance or timeline collapse, the lesson keeps the teaching, states plainly what the borrowed word is and is not doing, and shows that the instruction survives without it. The finding, after thirty lessons, is that the method does not depend on the physics it borrows. A reader who accepts no metaphysics at all can run the whole thing and get what it promises.

Which mind is this for. Some people think in sequence, some in whole pictures, and some by taking things apart. Most manifestation teaching is written by one kind of mind for the same kind of mind, and the other two conclude the fault is theirs. From Module Four onward every lesson gives the same instruction three ways. The analytical reader, who is usually the one this genre loses, is given a mechanism before anything is asked of them.

And one limit stated inside the course rather than in a disclaimer. Some obstacles are not beliefs. A visa timeline is not a belief, a diagnosis is not a belief, and a market that closed in your sector is not a belief. A method that explains every failure by inner state cannot be wrong, and a claim that cannot be wrong is empty. Worse, it turns ordinary misfortune into evidence of a personal defect. Module Five ends by giving you a test for telling the two apart.

How each lesson is built

Doorway. A few lines to enter by, from the posted corpus. The teaching. Plain prose from one source chapter, named. The plate. One drawing with a short reading guide. Common misunderstanding. The reading the lesson invites and does not intend. Which mind is this for. The same instruction in three languages. The practice. One only, with what it costs you in time. Where this stops. On the twelve lessons that make a causal claim. In your own words. Three prompts and the space to answer them. Canonical quote. One line from the posted corpus, with its date. Connections, and a closing line marked Held for elsewhere that names what the lesson deliberately does not cover.

What it costs

Fourteen of the thirty practices are a single sitting. The other sixteen run for a stated period, and four are long: fourteen days, eight weeks, twelve weeks, and one weekly line for a quarter. Run as intended, with the long practices overlapping from Module Four on, the course is about five months at roughly ten minutes a day plus two or three sittings a month.

If you only do five, do these: The Backward Audit in Module One, The Ordinary Tuesday in Module Four, The Undoing Log and Thirty Small Instances in Module Five, and The One Page at the end. Those five contain the method.

The five books these lessons come from

Lessons cite their source by name. Where one says Book I or Book III, it means these:

You do not need any of them to work through the lessons. Every lesson states its teaching in full on the page, and the citations are there so you can go to the source if you want to.

What you write stays yours

The three prompts in every lesson have a box to write in. What you put there is saved in this browser, on this device, and nowhere else. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server holding any of it. Nobody at the Institute can read it, including David. There is an export button in the contents rail that hands you a plain text file of everything you have written, and an erase button that removes it. Clearing your browser data will also remove it, so export anything you want to keep.

A word on what this is. These lessons are reflective and educational. They are not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Two lessons borrow a technique from clinical practice and say so plainly, at low intensity and for a smaller purpose. If what surfaces reaches further than a reflection page should, that is the moment to stop and take it to someone qualified.

The six modules

Module One

The Consequence

The claim and its limit, the delay that hides the mechanism, the word for what actually leaves you, the three words kept apart, and one honest look backwards.

M-001 to M-005 · The Dream of Life ch.2
Module Two

How the Dream Takes Form

The six rungs and the two where people fall off, what the brain actually contributes, the observer claim held to the standard the books set for themselves, the filing system underneath a belief, and one ordinary life walking the whole ladder.

M-006 to M-010 · Sankalpa and The Dream of Life ch.15
Module Three

The Three Minds

What each kind of mind is good at, how each one fails, and the translation that makes a single method work for all three.

M-011 to M-015 · This typology appears in no other text
Module Four

The Five Steps

Clarify the signal, emotional alignment, inspired action, let go of the how, collapse old timelines. The method taught as written, with the mechanism claims separated from the instructions.

M-016 to M-020 · The Dream of Life ch.22
Module Five

The Counter-Beliefs

What to do when you have run the method honestly and nothing has changed, the rule your behavior obeys, why arguing with it fails, the method that works instead, and where the whole thing stops.

M-021 to M-025 · The Journey of Self Discovery ch.7
Module Six

The Living Prayer

Coincidence and what to do with one, need and overflow, what you take to be behind it, joy as a compass rather than a reward, and the one page that replaces the course.

The other course

This course is the method. The Practical Lessons are the ground it stands on: thirty-six lessons across the five books on the mask, the construction, the walls, the field, the openings and the open hand. The two overlap deliberately in three places and say so on the page. Either can be read first.
